Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  Recently city staff was contacted by the Bob Tavani House for Medical Respite stating they would not be able to use the FY 2022 ESG funds that were allocated to them. City staff would like to reprogram these funds into the FY 2023 allocation. The allocations are made on a proportional basis from the scores that the applications received from the community development committee during the FY 2023 application cycle.  The funding allocations in this resolution amend Resolutions: 23-0058R, 23-0061R, and 23-0293R. This reallocation of funds meets the definition of a minor amendment in the City of Duluth Citizen Participation Plan, which requires a recommendation from the Division Manager to the city council and approval by the Mayor and does not require a separate public hearing.
