RESOLUTION DESIGNATING POLLING PLACES FOR THE AUGUST 8, 2023 PRIMARY ELECTION AND THE NOVEMBER 7, 2023 GENERAL ELECTION.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 204B.16, subdivision 3, the following locations are designated as polling places in the city of Duluth for the August 8, 2023 primary election, and November 7, 2023 general election, until further notice:

FURTHER RESOLVED, that Duluth City Hall, 411 W. 1st Street, and City Center West, 5830 Grand Avenue are designated as early voting centers.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that under the authority of Ordinance 8728, that an absentee ballot board shall be in effect and utilized as allowed for under Minnesota Statutes, for the August 8, 2023, and November 7, 2023 elections, and until further notice.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the city agrees to indemnify and hold harmless any organization allowing the city to use its building for a polling place from any claims or damages for bodily injury or property damage that are not covered by the insurance of the property owner or property operator, and arise out of the claimants’ activities in the polling
