RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A FIVE-YEAR AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF MINNESOTA, ACTING THROUGH ITS MINITEX INFORMATION NETWORK, TO PARTICIPATE IN THE STATEWIDE DISCOVERY AND INTERLIBRARY LOAN SYSTEM FACILITATING INTERLIBRARY LOANS.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a five-year agreement, substantially in the form of that attached hereto as Exhibit A, with the State of Minnesota, acting through its Minitex Information Network (“Minitex”), related to the Minnesota Library Information Network (“MNLINK’’).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of this Resolution is to authorize an agreement with Minitex related to MNLINK. The agreement is effective July1, 2024 through June 30, 2029. The current contract expires June 30, 2024. MNLINK is the statewide interlibrary loan network that links academic libraries, government libraries, public libraries and school libraries throughout the state of Minnesota.
