RESOLUTION APPROVING A COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF DULUTH AND LAW ENFORCEMENT LABOR SERVICES 538 FOR THE YEAR 2027.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute and implement a collective bargaining agreement with Law Enforcement Labor Services 363 containing substantially the same terms as that attached hereto as Document A, covering the terms and conditions for Law Enforcement Labor Services 363 bargaining unit members for the year 2027.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The City and the Police Officers, Investigators and Police Sergeants, represented by Law Enforcement Labor Services (LELS) 538 have been in negotiations for a successor agreement to their current 2024-2026 collective bargaining agreement. The parties tentatively agreed to a 2027 collective bargaining agreement on August 13, 2026, and the LELS membership ratified the 2027 collective bargaining agreement on August 28, 2026.
