CITY PROPOSAL:

Resolved, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute an amendment to agreement L30831 with TKDA for additional engineering services related to the design of Waabizheshikana: The Marten Trail Segments 0, 1, and 2 project as identified in the attached Exhibit A for an increase of $54,326.00 for a new total amount not to exceed $153,949.00, payable from fund 452-030-5530-HANDHTAX-1501-04 (tourism & recreational projects, finance, improvements other than buildings, half & half tax projects, Waabizheshikana Trail, Segments 0-3: 63rd Ave W to Boathouse Point).

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  This resolution authorizes an amendment to agreement L30831 with TKDA for additional professional engineering services related to design of Waabizheshikana: The Marten Trail Segments 0, 1, and 2 project for an increase of $54,326.00 and a new total amount not to exceed $153,949.00.

 

 A number of additional services have been requested for the Marten Trail project, due to a complex site and coordination of multiple projects that are happening within and adjacent to the Marten Trail route, explained in detail in Exhibit A.

 

The cost of the contract will be paid for by a previously awarded grant from the National Park Service for the design of this project.
