RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH ARROWHEAD ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY AGENCY PROVIDING STAFFING SERVICES AT THE DULUTH CAREERFORCE CENTER.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute a professional services agreement with Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency (AEOA) substantially in the form of the attached Document A, which allows the city to provide staffing services at the Duluth CareerForce Center for a fee of $209.44 per week, funds to be deposited into fund no. 268-031-6251.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an agreement with AEOA pursuant to which the city will provide staffing services at the CareerForce Center. AEOA is responsible for providing reception and career lab personnel staffing under an Infrastructure Funding Agreement at the Duluth Career Force location. Instead of providing personnel to meet its staffing obligations, AEOA wishes to pay the city to provide those services. The city has the capacity and ability to provide the staffing services.
