CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Hanco Utilities, Inc. for the 2016 Citywide Gas Meter Relocation project in the amount of $119,543.21, payable out of Gas Fund 520, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital), Object 5533 (Capital Improvements - Revenue), city project no. 1430.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the 2016 Citywide Gas Meter Relocation Project by Hanco Utilities, Inc. in the amount of $119,543.21. Hanco Utilities, Inc. was the lowest responsible bidder of the two companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $121,901. This project will relocate gas meters in order to bring them into compliance with Minnesota Office of Pipeline Safety regulations. Payable out of Gas Fund 520, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital), Object 5533 (Capital Improvements - Revenue), city project no. 1430, requisition no. 16-0416.
