CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to amend Contract No. L31239 with LHB, Inc. to provide additional professional engineering and construction administration services for the 2026 Street Preservation Project-Morley Heights, to increase the amount by $295,714.00 for a new total not to exceed $412,634.00, payable from fund 440-038-5530 (street improvement program, Special Assessment Contracts, improvements other than buildings).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an amendment to Contract No. L31239 with LHB, Inc. to provide additional professional engineering and construction administration services for the 2026 Street Preservation Project-Morley Heights, to increase the amount by $295,714.00 for a new total not to exceed $412,634.00.
This resolution amends contract L31239 with LHB, Inc. for $295,714.00. This amendment is necessary due to adding construction management and construction inspection services to the scope of the original contract as detailed in Amendment No. 1, substantially in the form of that attached as Exhibit B.
