CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement, (substantially in the form of the attached Exhibit A,) with Alliant Engineering, Inc. for the Medical District Lighting Improvements Project, City Project Number 2338, in the amount of $58,330.00. payable from fund 455-035-5530; RED-RUS-2338 (regional exchange district, Capital Projects Accounts, improvements other than buildings; regional exchange district, Road, Utility & Site Improvements, medical district lighting improvements).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize an agreement for design and bidding services for the Medical District Lighting Improvements project with Alliant Engineering, Inc. in the amount of $58,330.00.
Essentia Health requested these improvements as a pedestrian and traffic safety measure. This work will design street lighting in the area between 4th Ave. East and 6th Ave. East, between Superior Street and 4th Street.
The City Purchasing Division issued a request for proposals on May 11, 2026 for this project and received three proposals as listed below. After evaluation and scoring, Alliant Engineering, Inc. was determined to be the best value proposal for the work.
