CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Veit & Company, Inc. for the Upper Lakeside Water Zone Interconnect Phase 2 Project in the amount of $268,625.00, payable out of Water Infrastructure Surcharge Fund 511, Department/Agency 500, Division 1905, Object 5533, City Project no. 2363.

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes City officials to contract with Veit & Company, Inc. for the installation of a 12” water main in 40th Avenue East to provide a second source point of water for the Upper Lakeside water zone. This project is phase 2 of a series of projects that will eliminate the Upper Lakeside Water Tank. Veit & Company, Inc. was the lowest responsive bidder of 6 bids received. The construction will use budgeted capital funds payable from Water Infrastructure Fund 511, Department/Agency 500, Division 1905, Object 5533, City Project no. 2363.
