Friends Report May 2026

The Board for the Friends of the Duluth Public Library met in person on April 21, 2026. The key points from that meeting are as follows:
• The Board voted to approve the appointment of our newest Board member, Jeremy Anderberg.
• The Board voted to donate $10,000 to the Library.
• After having a “returned” check from a donation and a purchase, the Board discussed the issue of how to handle returned checks.
• The Board discussed adding the board members from the Library Board and the Duluth Library Foundation Board to the Friends mailing list, even if they are not Friends members.
• If you are interested in joining the mailing list, please let Jose know and give him the contact information you would like submitted.
• Annual Meeting is May 19, 2026, at 4:30 pm in the Green Room. Library Board members are invited to attend.
