CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Northland Constructors of Duluth, Inc. for the reconstruction of Raleigh Street from Grand Ave to 59th Ave W in the amount of $2,788,500.00, payable out of the Permanent Improvement Fund 411, Department/Agency 035 (Capital Projects Account), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), City Project no. 2057.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the award of a contract for the reconstruction of Raleigh Street from Grand Ave to 59th Ave W to Northland Constructors of Duluth, Inc. in the amount of $2,788,500.00. The project will be paid for with MSA funds and City utilities funds. Northland Constructors of Duluth, Inc. was the lowest responsible bidder of the two companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate for the project was $3,516,529.30. Payable out of the Permanent Improvement Fund 411, Department/Agency 035 (Capital Projects Account), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), City Project no. 2057. requisition no. 24-99400.
