Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an agreement with Cornwell Engineering Group for engineering, design and commissioning services for the water system corrosion control project for a total amount not to exceed $169.015.00.

The scope of work is a continuation of the study, evaluation and report work for evaluating the corrosion control treatment of the City’s water system, and adding additional services including developing final design plans and assisting with bidding to convert the water system from ammonia gas for chloramination to using an ammonium sulfate liquid product.  This is work mandated by EPA guidelines.  The funding for these services is a budgeted expense from the water utility fund.
