RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A SUBRECIPIENT FUNDING AGREEMENT WITH SOFIDEL AMERICA CORP.

CITY PROPOSAL:

That the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute a subrecipient funding agreement, substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A, with Sofidel America Corp., for an amount not to exceed $2,399,086, payable from Fund 235.

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  This resolution authorizes the city to enter into a subrecipient grant agreement with Sofidel America Corp. in an amount not to exceed $2,399,086 to support environmental remediation of the Duluth Paper Mill expansion site.
