CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Hanco Utilities, Inc. for construction of the 2024 Gas Blanket Project for Mains and Services in Various Locations in the amount of $1,130,715.00, payable out of Gas Utility Fund 520, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital Improvements), Object 5533 (Revenue), city project no. 2220.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize construction of one-inch through eight-inch high pressure polyethylene gas mains and half-inch and larger polyethylene gas services during the 2024 construction season by Hanco Utilities, Inc. in the amount of $1,130,715.00, payable out of Gas Utility Fund 520, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital Improvements), Object 5533 (Revenue), city project no. 2220, requisition no. 24-99286. Hanco Utilities, Inc. was the lowest bidder of the three companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $1,220,508,000.
