CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to contract for the purchase of original manufacturer parts, supplies and labor for CAT equipment from Ziegler Inc., for an annual estimated amount not to exceed $300,000.00, payable from fund 660-015-5221-01 (fleet services; Public Administration; equipment repair supplies standard).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an annual contract for the purchase of original manufacturer parts, supplies and labor for CAT equipment from Ziegler Inc., for an annual estimated amount not to exceed $300,000.00.
Ziegler parts are used because they are reliable, ensure proper fit and compatibility, and keep us within warranty specifications. Ziegler is the regional dealership for the respective brand, CAT. The contract will cover both routine maintenance and major repair costs on CAT equipment, which includes graders, wheel loaders, and skid loaders. This is an annual budgeted expense.
