RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REDEVELOPMENT GRANT CONTRACT OF $250,000 FROM MINNESOTA DEED FOR THE TRUE NORTH GOODWILL PROJECT

RESOLVED, that the Duluth Economic Development Authority (DEDA) is hereby authorized to accept and execute the Redevelopment Grant contract agreement, substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A, with the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development for their stormwater management infrastructure.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes acceptance of the State of Minnesota DEED Redevelopment Grant in an amount not to exceed $250,000 for which an agreement with True North Goodwill will reimburse for the required match funding. Redevelopment activities associated with this grant funding are focused on stormwater management infrastructure at the True North Goodwill site.
