RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE NEW CIVIL SERVICE CLASSIFICATION OF PARK MAINTENANCE LEADWORKER, AND SPECIFYING CONTRACT BENEFITS FOR SAME.

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  The new classification of park maintenance leadworker has been created to accurately describe the work that is required in the park maintenance division. The leadworkers in this division were previously part of a citywide job classification, maintenance operations leadworker, which did not accurately represent their work. The pay range negotiated for the classification is Range 32, pay rate of $61,414 to $72,087 per year.
