RESOLUTION APPROVING ISSUANCE OF A TEMPORARY ON SALE INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE TO VARIOUS LICENSEES.

CITY PROPOSAL:
BE IT RESOLVED, that the city council of the city of Duluth hereby approves issuance of the following temporary liquor licenses, subject to depart-ment-al approvals, with any further restrictions, and further subject to approval of the liquor control commissioner:
Duluth Library Foundation (Learning & Libations at the Library) - Application for a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license for September 15, 2023 at 520 West Michigan Street.
Northland Newborn Foundation (Savor du Nord) - Application for a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license for November 2, 2023 at 2907 Helm Street.
Minnesota Ballet (Celebrity Dance Challenge) - Application for a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license for October 6, 2023 at 1215 Rice Lake Road.
Duluth Superior Pride - Application for a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license for September 2, 2023 at 350 Harbor Drive.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The applications for temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor licenses were reviewed by the Duluth police department and were recommended for approval by the Alcohol, Gambling and Tobacco Commission at their July 5 meeting.
