BY PRESIDENT HOBBS:

The city of Duluth does ordain:

                     Section 1.                     That Section 1 of Ordinance 10298 be amended to read as follows:

                     Section 1.                     That Chapter 45 of the Duluth City Code, 1959, as amended, is hereby amended by repealing Article XII, entitled Street Lighting System Utility, in its entirety effective December 31, 20192024. 

                     Section 2.                     That this ordinance shall take effect 30 days after its passage and publication.

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of this ordinance is to amend Ordinance 10298 and extend by five years the repeal date for Article XII, Chapter 45, of the Duluth City Code, entitled Street Lighting System Utility.
