CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a first amendment to the subrecipient funding agreement (city contract no. 24724), substantially in the form of the attached Document A, a first amendment to the professional services agreement (city contract no. 24763) substantially in the form of the attached Document B; and the first amendment to an agreement (city contract no. 24655) substantially in the form of the attached Document C; all initially with SOAR Career Solutions and now with True North Goodwill Northern Minnesota and Northwestern Wisconsin.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes first amendments to three city contracts that were initially entered into by SOAR Career Solutions. SOAR Career Solutions and True North Goodwill Northern Minnesota and Northwestern Wisconsin have merged and the surviving entity is True North Goodwill Northern Minnesota and Northwestern Wisconsin (Goodwill). The city and Goodwill wish to amend the agreements to reflect the merger between SOAR Career Solutions and Goodwill. Goodwill will assume all the responsibilities, rights, titles and interests that SOAR had under the agreements.
