RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A LAND SALE AGREEMENT WITH SAIA, MOTOR FREIGHT.

RESOLVED, by the Duluth Economic Development Authority (“DEDA”), that the proper DEDA officials are hereby authorized to execute a Land Sale Agreement, largely in accordance with the attached hereto (DEDA Contract No. ______________) pursuant to which DEDA will sell the property described therein at 2300 Commonwealth Ave to SAIA Motor Freight. (“Purchaser”) for the amount of $17,680, payable to Fund 860 and authorizing the payment therefrom of fees related to the sale as set forth in said agreement.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of this resolution is to approve a Land Sale Agreement with Purchaser for the sale of certain property located at 2300 Commonwealth Avenue. Purchaser will pay $17,860 for the property for the building of a truck distribution center with at least 10 doors.
