RESOLVED, that Resolution 23-0106 be amended as follows:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to execute a sole source purchase of an access control system for the Technology Village HART District Ramp from Interstate Development Partners LLC for a total amount not to exceed $165,000. payable from fund 505-015-1480-25111-5405 (Parking, Public Administration, off-street parking, Technology Village HART District Ramp, parking lot maintenance).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution amends resolution 23-0106R and authorizes the sole source purchase of an access control system from Interstate Development Partners LLC for a total amount not to exceed $165,000.
This purchase serves to secure exterior building access at the HART District Ramp parking facility. Exterior roll-up doors, door locks, and a proprietary access control system will be installed by a variety of sub-vendors to address ongoing public safety needs. This sole source purchase is necessary due to the multifaceted nature of the project, the need to control the overall cost of the project, lack of local vendors willing to bid on the project, and the specialized knowledge and experience of the proposed vendor. This purchase replaces the one authorized under Resolution 23-0106R for access control equipment at Technology Village Ramp due to the anticipated sale of that facility.
