CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to amend agreement L30697 with Rachel Contracting, LLC for the Brighton Beach Lakeshore Stabilization project for additional services as detailed in the attached proposal as Exhibit A, and to increase the amount by $67,491.00 for a new total of $1,586,721.68, payable from fund 225-125-1822-5310-STRM1122-01 (disaster recovery fund, finance, storm surge November 2022, contract services, storm surge November 10, 2022, Brighton Beach).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution amends agreement L30697 with Rachel Contracting, LLC by an increase of $67,491.00. This change order includes additional stone revetment, site restoration and cleanup, and installation of rock steps and berm.
The project is funded by federal disaster response funding awarded in association with a 2018 storm and state disaster assistance awarded in association with a 2022 storm. The purpose of the funding is to reconstruct damaged and vulnerable infrastructure to better withstand such storms in the future.
