CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are authorized to contract with JMF Construction, Inc. for the 2025 Citywide Patch and Sidewalk project in the amount of $522,716.55, payable from fund 411-035-5530; PI2025-2238 (permanent improvement; Capital Projects Accounts; improvements other than buildings).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize a contract with JMF Construction, Inc. for the 2025 Citywide Patch and Sidewalk project in the amount of $522,716.55.
Work includes repair of street pavement needing restoration due to utility repairs by the city, sidewalk construction in Priority Areas or near school locations, sidewalk improvements for individual owners within city rights-of-way by assessment, adjustment of existing electrical hand holes, and curb ramp work.
On February 18, 2025, the purchasing department issued a solicitation for this project. JMF Construction, Inc. was the lowest responsible bidder of the three companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $493,329.05. Tabulation of bids received is outlined below.
