CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with JMF Construction, Inc. for the 2016 Manhole Adjustment and Bollard Installation Project in the amount of $167,500. Payable equally out of Gas Fund 520, Sanitary Sewer Fund 530 and Stormwater Fund 535, Department/Agency 035 (Capital Projects Accounts), Object 5535 (Non-Capital Improvements), city project no. 1523.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the 2016 Manhole Adjustment and Bollard Installation project by JMF Construction, Inc. in the amount of $167,500. JMF Construction, Inc. was the lowest responsible bidder of the two companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $150,000. This project is for the adjustment of manholes that are failing or require maintenance, and the installation of bollards in areas where gas meters are unprotected. Payable equally out of Gas Fund 520, Sanitary Sewer Fund 530 and Stormwater Fund 535, Department/Agency 035 (Capital Projects Accounts), Object 5535 (Non-Capital Improvements), city project no. 1523, requisition no. 16-0153.
