CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with AEI Construction, Inc. for the gas main installation for the Cirrus Aircraft expansion in the amount of $250,662.07, payable out of Gas Fund 520, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital), Object 5533 (Capital Improvements - Revenue), city project no. 1551.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the installation of 7,200 linear feet of 6” PE gas main to the Cirrus Aircraft expansion to provide upgraded service. AEI Construction, Inc. was the lowest responsible bidder of the five companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $400,000. This project was petitioned by Cirrus Aircraft, and the costs will be 100% assessed to the benefitting properties. Payable out of Gas Fund 520, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital), Object 5533 (Capital Improvements - Revenue), city project no. 1551, requisition no. 16-0475.
