CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Northland Constructors of Duluth, Inc. for the 6^th Avenue East Extension Project in the amount of $3,822,500.00, payable out of Permanent Improvement fund 411, Department/Agency 035 (Capital Projects Accounts), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), City project no. 1966.

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the 6^th Avenue East Extension project by Northland Constructors of Duluth, Inc. in the amount of $3,822,500.00. Northland Constructors of Duluth, Inc. was the only bidder that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $4,473,932.50. The construction will use budgeted Regional Exchange District funds payable out of Permanent Improvement fund 411, Department/Agency 035 (Capital Projects Accounts), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), City project no. 1966, requisition no. 24-99395.
