CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Hanco Utilities, Inc. for the 2017 City Wide Gas Meter Relocation project in the amount of $344,375, payable out of Gas Utility Fund 520, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital Improvements), Object 5533 (Revenue), city project no. 1613.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize a contract with Hanco Utilities, Inc. for the 2017 City Wide Gas Meter Relocation project in the amount of $344,375, payable out of Gas Utility Fund 520, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital Improvements), Object 5533 (Revenue), city project no. 1613, requisition no. 17-0159. Hanco Utilities, Inc. was the lowest responsible bidder of the three companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $350,000.
