RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT L30333 WITH SRF CONSULTING GROUP, INC., (SRF) FOR ADDITIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT THE INTERSECTION OF WOODLAND AVENUE, KENT ROAD AND EAST 8TH STREET FOR AN INCREASE OF $7,966 AND A NEW TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $87,740.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute an amendment, substantially in the form attached as Exhibit A, with SRF for additional engineering services for the traffic signal replacement at the intersection of Woodland Avenue, Kent Road and East 8th Street, for an increase of $7,966, and a new total not to exceed $87,740, payable from fund 411-035-5530, PI2020-1807 (permanent improvement fund, capital projects account, improvements other than buildings, Woodland Avenue and Kent Road traffic signal replacement).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an amendment to the agreement with SRF for additional construction administration services for the traffic signal replacement at the intersection of Woodland Avenue, Kent Road and East 8th Street,
A required change to the construction sequence resulted in additional concrete pours, which in turn resulted in additional construction administration and onsite observation. The change will also extend the project by about two months.
