CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute a first amendment to agreement number 23803 regarding the FY 2018 operation stonegarden grant, which grant is from the U.S. Department of Public Safety, Homeland Security and Emergency Management Division, Bureau of Customs and Border Protection, to be used for operational overtime and fringe benefits, increasing reimbursement for such costs by the additional amount of $5,079, increasing the total reimbursement for overtime and fringe benefits to $49,114; said first amendment to be substantially the same as the attached Document A, with funds to be deposited in fund number 215-200-2297-4210-02 (Duluth Police Grant Programs, Police, 2018 Operation Stonegarden).

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the City of Duluth to enter into a first amendment to the Agreement with St. Louis County regarding the FY 2018 Operation Stonegarden Grant.  This amendment authorizes the City of Duluth to accept additional reimbursement of $5,079 for overtime and fringe benefits awarded under a supplemental grant, thereby increasing the total reimbursement to the City of Duluth for these costs from $44,035 to $49,114.  This first amendment does not affect the City’s reimbursement of up to $22,305 for equipment costs under Article II.B. of the Agreement.
