CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the appropriate City Representatives may authorize the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Utility Crossing License UWAT014183. This license will after the fact authorize a sanitary sewer force main crossing public water of the State (Tischer Creek) under Woodland Avenue.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize the completion of Minnesota Department of Natural Resources licensing requirements for crossing state regulated public waters. The sanitary force main crossing Tisher Creek was installed in 2018 and inadvertently the public waters crossing permit requirements were misunderstood at that time. The DNR and City recently realized a crossing license for the utility did not exist. The two agencies have been working together to complete the omitted license requirements to properly document the City utility crossing.
