RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE EXISTING CIVIL SERVICE CLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY SERVICES SUPERVISOR.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proposed amendments to the specifications for the existing civil service classification of property services supervisor (attached as Exhibit A), which were approved by the civil service board on February 7, 2023, are approved. This classification shall remain subject to the city's collective bargaining agreement with its supervisory unit employees; and that pay range for said classification shall change to Ranges 1075-1090, pay rate of $72,495 to $95,198 per year, from Ranges 1055-1070, pay rate of $68,889 to $86,067 per year.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The existing classification of property services supervisor has been revised to update language to reflect the evolution of duties over time and better articulate the high level/complex duties related to management of real estate transactions. The pay range negotiated for this classification is Ranges 1075-1090, pay rate of $72,495 to $95,198 per year. This is a change from Ranges 1055-1070, pay rate of $68,889 to $86,067 per year.
