BY COUNCILORS FILIPOVICH AND SIPRESS:
RESOLVED, that $100,000 of the estimated 2022 hotel-motel and food and beverage tourism taxes are hereby allocated to fund a tourism marketing position in the city.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that $450,000 of the estimated 2022 hotel-motel and food and beverage tourism taxes are hereby allocated to fund a customs facility for cruise ships.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of this resolution is to allocate $100,000 to fund a tourism marketing position in the city of Duluth and $450,000 to fund a customs facility for cruise ships from the 2022 hotel-motel and food and beverage tourism taxes.
