CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with KGM Contracting, Inc. for the 2021 East Superior Street Reconditioning project from 45th Avenue East to 60th Avenue East, in the amount of $2,547,829.96. Payable from Permanent Improvement Fund 411, Department 035 (Capital Projects Accounts), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), City Project no 1908, S.P. 118-147-019.  The funding sources for the project will be Federal funds ($1,360,000) and Municipal State Aid funds ($400,000) and Street Improvement Sales Tax Fund 291 ($787,829.96).

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  This resolution will authorize award of a contract to KGM Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $2,547,829.96 for the East Superior Street Reconditioning project from 45th Avenue East to 60th Avenue East. The engineer’s estimate was $2,794,212.  Payable from Permanent Improvement Fund 411, Department 035 (Capital Projects Accounts), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), City Project no. 1908, requisition no. 21-99501.
