CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to amend Mn/DOT Agreement No. 02996 with the Minnesota Department of Transportation to provide for payment by the city to the state for the city’s share of the final costs of state-provided utility relocations and construction services, payable in the amount of $60,361.39 from Water Fund 510, Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Organization 1905 (Capital), Object 5533 (Capital Improvement - Revenue), $6,644.22 from Sanitary Sewer Fund 530, Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Organization 1905 (Capital), Object 5535 (Non-Capital Improvements); $11,776.11 from Storm Sewer Fund 535, Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Organization 1905 (Capital), Object 5535 (Non-Capital Improvements); and $36,331.40 from Street Lighting Fund 550, Agency 120 (Public Administration), Object 5535, S.P. 6910-82, city project no. 1079.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that Resolution 13-0161R authorizing the original agreement be amended to increase the amount by $13,755.46 for a new final total of $115,113.12.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize an amendment to Resolution 13-0161R, passed on April 22, 2013, authorizing a Mn/DOT partnership agreement between Mn/DOT and the city of Duluth for utility relocations and construction services associated with the construction of Bridge No. 69X12 (Keene Creek Box Culvert) on TH23 (Grand Avenue) from Polk Street to I-35. This adjustment accounts for final quantities and construction field changes. All work is 100% complete.
