CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with TanksCo Inc. for the Water Tower Reconditioning - Highland and Orphanage Project in the amount of $951,000.00, payable out of Water Infrastructure Surcharge Fund 511, Department/Agency 500, Division 1905, Object 5533, City Project no. 2383.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes City officials to contract with TanksCo, Inc. for overcoating the Highland water tower and a complete coatings replacement of Orphanage water tower, in the amount of $951,000.00. TanksCo, Inc. was the lowest responsive bidder of three bids received. The construction will use budgeted capital funds payable from Water Infrastructure Fund 511, Department/Agency 500, Division 1905, Object 5533, City Project no. 2383.
