RESOLUTION APPROVING A COUNTY PROJECT WITHIN MUNICIPAL CORPORATE LIMITS FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO COUNTY STATE AID HIGHWAY 91 (40th AVE. WEST).

CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that plans for project S.A.P. 069-691-034 showing proposed alignments, profiles, grades and cross sections for the construction of County State Aid Highway 91 (40TH Ave. West) within the limits of the City of Duluth as a state aid project have been prepared and presented to the City, and that said plans be in all things approved.

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize a county project within the city limits to make road improvements on 40th Ave. West between Grand Avenue and the railroad crossing.  This project includes full reconstruction, including a new shared use path, removal of existing signalized intersection at Grand Avenue, new sidewalk and ADA improvements. This resolution is a requirement for state aid approval of the county’s plans.
