CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with CR-Building Performance Specialists, Inc. (CR-BPS), substantially in the form of that attached as Exhibit A, for professional services in the continued implementation of a citywide asset management system for an amount not to exceed $80,000 payable as follows:

$55,000 General Fund 110, Public Administration 121, Facilities Management 1222, Software Licenses and Maintenance Agreements 5414

$25,000 Energy Management 257, Public Administration 015, Software Licenses and Maintenance Agreements 5414

Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an agreement with CR-Building Performance Specialists, Inc for professional services in the continued implementation of a citywide asset management system for $80,000. The agreement includes the option of two one-year renewals for future asset and energy management services. Each potential renewal is subject to separate City Council approval.
In 2014, the City (PFM) purchased a facility asset management system. The software system stores facility system condition data (age, condition, lifecycle, and replacement value) and organizes it to guide facility capital planning.
In order to put the system to work, CR-BPS has been gradually assessing the condition of the City's 148 buildings and their various systems (roofing, envelope, HVAC, electrical components, furniture, flooring, doors, windows, etc.) and entering the resultant facility condition data into the asset management system.
