CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to contract for the purchase of OEM parts, supplies and labor in 2026 from Duluth Tire & Oil, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $180,000 payable as follows:
$60,000.00 660-015-5221-01 (Fleet Services, Public Administration, equipment repair supplies standard)
$100,000.00 660-015-5221-02 (Fleet Services, Public Administration, equipment repair supplies subset)
$20,000.00 660-015-5404 (Fleet Services, Public Administration, equipment/machinery repair & mtc)
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes a contract for vehicle and equipment tires and tire repair services from Duluth Tire & Oil, Inc., for an estimated annual amount not to exceed $180,000.000.
This contract is for replacement and maintenance of tires for city trucks, pickups, graders, and automobiles for the year of 2026. Duluth Tire & Oil Inc. works with the government pricing program through tire manufacturers and have shown exemplary customer service with the city in the past. This is a budgeted fleet annual expense.
