CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute an amendment to agreement L30511 with AMI Consulting Engineers to include additional services requested during the design phase and for construction administration services through project completion as detailed in the attached proposal as Exhibit A, for an increase of $758,700.00 and a new total amount not to exceed $1,090,440.25, payable from fund 450-030-5530-CP450-20BOND-SEAWLL (capital improvements, finance, improvements other than buildings, capital projects - other fund contributions, city & state bonds 2020, Seawall Phase II).

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  This resolution authorizes an amendment to agreement L30511 with AMI Consulting Engineers for an increase of $758,700.00. Additional services and revisions were requested at various stages in the design phase to accommodate extensive stakeholder engagement, adjustments to the project timeline, changes to layouts and requirements, coordination of bid packages and permitting needs, and assistance with grant funding applications. This amendment will also provide construction administration, documentation, inspections, and quality assurance services for the coastal, marine structural, and electrical engineering portions through completion of the project.
