RESOLUTION APPROVING APPOINTMENT OF TRICIA HOBBS AS TEMPORARY DEDA EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

WHEREAS, the Duluth City Council Resolution establishing the Duluth Economic Development Authority (DEDA) resolution R09-0342 and Section 2.9 of the DEDA Bylaws each state that the Executive Director of DEDA shall be appointed by the Mayor subject to approval by the DEDA Board; and
WHEREAS, on August 28, 2024, City of Duluth Mayor Roger J. Reinert appointed Tricia Hobbs as temporary DEDA Executive Director;
RESOLVED, that:
(a) DEDA approves the August 28, 2024, appointment by City of Duluth Mayor Roger J. Reinert of Tricia Hobbs as temporary DEDA executive director with all the rights and powers of the position.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: By this resolution DEDA approves City of Duluth Mayor Roger J. Reinert’s appointment of Tricia Hobbs as temporary DEDA Executive Director.
