CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Triple E Water and Sewer for the Lead Service Line Replacement - Endion 1 project for a total amount not to exceed $1,485,190.90, payable from fund 510-500-1905-5533; UtilB-2324 (water; Public Works and Utilities; capital (incl deprec/debt svc); capital improvements - revenue; utility projects budgeted; LSLR Endion). City project number 2324.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize construction of the Lead Service Line Replacement - Endion 1 project by Triple E Water and Sewer in the amount of $1,485,190.90. The project will replace 110 public and private lead water services, install four watermain extensions, and provide surface restoration in the Endion Neighborhood. Triple E Water and Sewer was the lowest responsive bidder of the three companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $2,200,00.00. All project costs will be reimbursed by the Minnesota Public Facilities Authority.
