RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT WITH THE DULUTH ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (DEDA) FOR STORAGE OF MATERIALS ON LOT D.

CITY PROPOSAL:
WHEREAS, Duluth Economic Development Authority (DEDA) owns waterfront property referred to as Lot D and described in the License Agreement attached as Exhibit A (“Property”);
WHEREAS, the city of Duluth is in need of temporary storage of materials associated with the cleanup and shoring of seawalls adjacent to the Property; and
WHEREAS, at its May 23, 2023, special meeting DEDA authorized DEDA officials to execute the License Agreement.
RESOLVED, that the city of Duluth authorizes the proper city officials to execute a License Agreement substantially in the form of that attached hereto as Exhibit B for the temporary storage of materials on Lot D.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: By this resolution the city of Duluth authorizes approval of the license agreement approved by the Duluth Economic Development Authority for the city’s temporary storage of materials associated with the cleanup and shoring of seawalls adjacent to Lot D.
