CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that pursuant to section 6.1 of MnDOT agreement no. 1036093 (City agreement no. 23878) with the Minnesota Department of Transportation pertaining to lighting, emergency vehicle preemption and other signal improvements related to MnDOT’s Lake Avenue Bridge project, Final Schedule “I”, attached hereto as Exhibit A, is hereby substituted for the Revised Schedule “I” previously attached to said agreement, which Final Schedule “I” reflects an increase in the City’s share of the cost of the project in the amount of $78,074.38 for a new total of $219,112.08, payable from Municipal State Aid funds.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution amends agreement no. 1036093 with MnDOT by $78,074.38. The state and the City of Duluth entered into this agreement to pay the City’s share of the project as part of MnDOT’s T.H. 35 improvement project based upon preliminary estimates reflected in Preliminary Schedule “I”. MnDOT completed the work in 2020, and has now sent the final paperwork to close out the project. The contract amount exceeds the amount in the original agreement. The agreement provides for the substitution of a new schedule “I”. The Final Schedule “I” reflects the City’s share based upon the final construction and construction engineering costs.
