CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to contract with Macqueen Equipment, Inc. for the purchase of a 2024 Trackless MT57 Municipal Tractor for an amount not to exceed $184,089 payable from 250-015-2024-5580; CE250-V2403 (capital equipment, Public Administration, fiscal year - 2024, capital equipment; capital equipment fund 250, park maintenance vehicles and equipment).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the purchase of a 2024 Trackless MT57 Municipal Tractor from Macqueen Equipment, Inc. The primary purpose of this unit is to power snowblower attachments used in sidewalk snow removal. Industry standard life cycle is 12 years or 10,000 hours. This unit replaces our oldest 2010 model year Trackless Mt6 with over 12,000 hours and which has accrued $121,238 in maintenance and repair costs. This tractor will be purchased under Minnesota State Contract 237862, Release T-652(5).
