CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that Agreement No. 22798 between St. Louis County and the city of Duluth to provide for payment by the county to the city for the county’s share of costs of the Arrowhead Road/Kenwood Avenue and West Cleveland Street signal improvement project be amended for the mill and overlay of the county’s segment of Kenwood Avenue (CSAH 34) in the estimated amount of $60,000 for a new total of $135,000.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: Resolution 16-0132R, passed on March 14, 2016, authorized an agreement with St. Louis County to collect the county’s share of the costs for the signal improvements to the Arrowhead Road and Kenwood Avenue intersection associated with the Kenwood Village development. The county has one “leg” of the intersection, which is the northbound Kenwood Avenue/Howard Gnesen Road. The scope of the project has been expanded to include pavement improvements. This amendment increases the amount of Agreement No. 22798 in the estimated amount of $60,000 for the county’s share of the pavement improvements, for a new total of $135,000. Funds to be deposited in Permanent Improvement Fund 411, Department 035 (Capital Projects Accounts), Object 4260 (St. Louis County), city project no. 1468.
