CITY PROPOSAL:
Resolved, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with SRF, Inc. for professional engineering services to provide design engineering for the Arrowhead/Kenwood and West Cleveland Street signal improvements in the amount of $118,217, payable from Permanent Improvement Fund 411, Department/Agency 035 (Capital Projects Accounts), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no. 1468.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize an agreement with SRF, Inc. for professional engineering services to perform design engineering of the Arrowhead Road/Kenwood Avenue and West Cleveland Street signal improvement project. A portion of the design work and construction work will be reimbursed by the developer of the Kenwood Village project and St. Louis County. SRF, Inc. had the highest score of the three proposals reviewed. SRF, Inc.’s score was based upon qualifications, past work experience on similar city projects, work plan and staffing, and fair bid amount for hours estimated. The working fund will be Permanent Improvement Fund 411, Department/Agency 035 (Capital Projects Accounts), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no. 1468.
Design work will include a new signal at the intersection of Cleveland Street and Kenwood Avenue, signal improvements at Kenwood Avenue and Arrowhead Road, driveway access closures, and reconstruction of approximately 380 feet of West Cleveland Street west of Kenwood Avenue.
