CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with MP Technologies, LLC for the Woodland Avenue Gas Main Replacement project in the amount of $804,610, payable from Gas Utility Fund 520, Department 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital Improvements), Object 5533 (Revenue), city project no. 1670.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize award of a contract to MP Technologies, LLC in the amount of $804,610 for the installation of approximately 8,000 linear feet of 6” PE gas main in Woodland Avenue/Rendle Avenue from St. Paul Avenue to Austin Street, and the abandonment or removal of the old 6” steel gas main. MP Technologies, LLC was the lowest responsible bidder of the four companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $821,000. Payable from Gas Utility Fund 520, Department 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital Improvements), Object 5533 (Revenue), city project no. 1670, requisition no. 18-0133.
