CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper City Officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Insituform Technologies USA, LLC, for the 2025 CIPP Sanitary Sewer Lining Project - City Wide in the amount of $1,753,569.00, payable out of the Sanitary Fund 530, Department 500, Division 1930, Object 5533. Util City Project 2280.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize City Officials to enter a contract for the 2025 CIPP Sanitary Sewer Project scheduled for construction in 2026 with Insituform Technologies USA, LLC, in the amount of $1,753,569.00. Insituform was the lowest responsible bidder of the four companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $1,664,828.00. The working fund of this project is 530-500-1905-5533, UtilB-2280 - Utility Projects Budgeted, 2025 CIPP Sanitary Lining Project - City Wide, Util City Project no. 2280 This project is budgeted for FY2025. Although the bid came in higher than the engineer's estimate, due to new bid items being introduced to the annual CIPP project, the City would not anticipate getting a lower bid amount if it were to be re-advertised.
